AV Sessions is a monthly open mic night event hosted by Pie Shop DC, a pastry shop and event venue. The first event of the year will be this Wednesday, January 26, with doors opening at 7PM and the show starting at 8. Advance tickets will be $10 and door tickets will be $15 so be sure to secure your tickets soon.
The event itself will have three feature artists performing, followed by an open mic section, where any and all artists and musicians are encouraged to perform. The featured artists are Ayotemi, who we at MSQ have discussed before, singer Yaj, and 301icon. Hosting the event as well is @kyleonthemic with DJ P-Knock.
This event is a great way to give live performance opportunities to the DMV's eclectic indie music scene, and the MSQ Shop definitely approves.
