The song is straightforward, a certain bounce to the beat makes the tempo feel equally slow and fast. I can hear this song being on the soundtrack of the next season of Insecure, with Issa Rae strutting out to it feeling independent and without reservation. The song begs to be heard with a couple shots of tequila and the sun on your skin, blasting from speakers on a beach party in the Caribbean. It's the anthem to stiff-arming a fuckboy who tries to approach you.
