Hailing from Virginia Beach, VA is a genuine hip-hop artist who goes by the name of Gee$. Having GOATS such as Jay Z and the entire hip-hop culture influence his artistry led Gee$ to pick up a pencil and a pad at a very young age. He wrote his very first rap when he was just in the 7th grade. At that very moment, he knew that this music was his passion; despite the many contrary beliefs he endured. Even with knowledge of his passion for hip-hop music and the culture itself, he didn’t embrace his talent and take it seriously until he was sixteen. Now, at thirty years young, Gee$ is finally chasing the dream he’s had since his grandmother was discovering his raps in the back of his schoolbooks and throwing them away.
