Jay Activist Collabs With ONM De'Sean & Anjul On "When I'm Alone"
The KSU trio is at it again! This time, Jay Activist collaborates with ONM De'Sean and Anjul on his latest track When I'm Alone. This song is the fifth song off of Jay's latest EP, Warm Nights (VOL II). This song, just like Understand Me, was made within the first couple weeks of college. It was actually made right after Understand Me!

When I'm Alone was written as a chill love song over an afro-beat. Each verse is an introspective view on situations with a significant other, while the hook describes the thoughts of being without that person. Anjul's clear and airy voice set the tone, and Jay Activist and ONM De'Sean add their own swag to it accordingly.
What I adore about this trio is that the lyrics are real and relatable, but the use of dancehall and afro-beats keep their songs upbeat and appealing. Their musicality is unmatched, and I am really excited to see what else they have in store. These three are definitely a force to be reckoned with.
"A lot of memories I had that just been fading / I reminisce and try to go back to them places / I'm tryna reminisce and go back to the basics"
