Lovelace Magazine Presents "Toxicity" At The Spot In Richmond

The Northern Virginia-based brand Lovelace Magazine is hosting their Toxicity in the Rich City on August 20th. This is the second time that Lovelace has hosted an event in Richmond this year with last month's event Ripple Effect being their first in the state capital. Last month, they held a performance battle between ConFromThe703 and Flowz where each artist performed three songs and the host Niq Bohr judged who won based on crowd noise.

Toxicity will feature performances from Norfolk's own Era Hardaway, who recently put out the visual for his song War Wounds. TheMSQShop's own OG Illa is stepping out from behind the scenes to perform in front of a crowd once again. Prior to the creation of TheMSQShop, he was working with the likes of Nickelus F, performed in festivals with the likes of The Roots, and rocking radio waves with songs like Water Bill and 2 A.M. In Richmond featuring radio DJ Mike Street, which has 15k views on YouTube.

The other artists on the card feature some Northern Virginia artists like Orion and Trickyy. Orion released his single Kirby earlier in the year. Trickyy previously performed out in Fredericksburg with several DMV artists like Xanman and Aquil VCR for an after-party and is continuing his list of shows with this upcoming Lovelace event. The performance showdown is the main event of the evening. It features King Koltrane and Chieftaine. King Koltrane is a jolt of energy for someone of his stature and is looking to utilize that in his battle against Chieftaine. Check out Koltrane's track Stuck below on Youtube and Chieftaine's track Dichotomy below to get a sample of their talents.
