Moni is a 23-year old Pop artist from Richmond, Virginia. His first EP The Passion was released in 2020, with lead single Playboy. Just in time for the holidays, he has released a Christmas-themed track, Missin' U, and it needs to be in your rotation all November and December.
Missin' U has all the musical elements of a proper Christmas song, sweet orchestral backing, slow keyboard, and jingle bells. But once the beat drops, the tempo picks up, the percussion cuts through and Moni's refrain of "Don't you know I'm missin' you" guides us through the song's 2:39 runtime. The vocals themselves fit perfectly with the energy brought by the instrumental, Moni could very well gain a feature from the likes of Lucky Daye or SiR, as his voice meshes very well with their timbres. This is a candy-coated pop banger that will get your Christmas party jumping whenever you need it to. The track was engineered by fellow Richmond producer T.I.M.
