N9N23 Releases Documentary Teasing PRIME's Upcoming Album "Girls > Drugs"
Updated: Feb 10, 2022
N9N23 has released a documentary explaining the themes, concepts, and construction of PRIME's upcoming project, Girls > Drugs, slated for Spring 2022. The main collaborators in the documentary are Kenny Burns, who manages and helps on the creative side the key motivations behind each song, photoshoot, interlude, etc, and Ricky Parker, a talent manager, and creative director.
Words of wisdom, mind-feeding mantras, and melodic music carry through the course of the documentary, as discussions range from love as a drug, men & women in relationships, defying norms and expectations, and other inspirational content. The album is deeply R&B-centric, with hip-hop never far behind. The upcoming album is even compared to Summer Walker's Still Over It project at one point in terms of subject matter. The documentary is very informative for anyone who wants to see a behind-the-scenes look at the album, or who is just a fan of the musicmaking process in general.
