Straight from the 804, Aye YB is making some noise on the producer scene! Nominated this week by one of our very own writers, Max, I could tell this one was gonna be a trip. Aye YB has produced for various artists that may ring a bell: 2 Chainz, T.I., and more! He is a part of Makasound Records, as well as being a Billboard producer and a Producer Grind content creator. Essentially, YB is using his craft to simultaneously build his empire while also helping other aspiring producers to build theirs.
Vy: How long have you been producing and what inspires you?
Aye YB: I’ve been producing for about six years. What inspires me to produce is that I’ve been around music all my life: from church to family members who have been doing music from singing to rapping to producing. Music has always had my love from being in the band to teaching myself piano.

Vy: What does your "producing process" look like?
Aye YB: My work process consists of me waking up early (about 8AM) working out, coming home, showering, and listening to different genres from pop, R&B, to jazz. After that, I like to sit in front of my computer, pray, and go to work. I’ll produce from about 11AM to 3PM take a break and enjoy my day then come back to my computer around about 11PM and continuing until about 1-2AM.
It is clear to see that YB isn't like these other producers! He is consistently showing up to work with a positive attitude every day, and his days seem extremely productive! I could feel YB's motivation and passion through this little snippet of his life. Everyone, stay tuned for more from Aye YB!
