SPKR Is Back Outside With "Summer House EP"

The pandemic killed too many plans, but Summer '22 seems to be turning up a notch thanks to Chicago native SPKR. Partnering with DJMANYF8X, the pair debut Summer House EP; featuring six EDM style bangers for the whip or pool party.

SPKR and frequent collaborator Pope DITMR sends listeners on an audible experience with I Know. It sets the tone of the project with its catchy drums and synthesized melodies. Those two things help this record become a blend of fun and nostalgia, making it a top contender for this Summer's soundtrack.

Records like Middle of You and House Sex incorporate the artist's R&B influence while keeping a consistent vibe throughout the project. The second half of the project displays a more experimental, up-tempo side that makes this EP easily replayable.

When asked about the passion behind the project, SPKR states "I started making house beats before rap ones. So, I always love going back to the electronic one(s). This project was meant for Spring and Summer parties".
