The emcee out of Galveston, Texas, YKG Hotboy is poised to be the next star from the Lone Star state. His last two singles, Friday, and Birth of a Hotboy have already garnered more than 200,000 streams on Spotify alone. He makes his 2022 return with the song and accompanying video for Another Day. The song is produced by none other than Eardrummers producer Resource, and directed by Julian MTZ.
The video shows YKG Hotboy's daily activities, managing to be funny, but with a sharp, aggressive trap edge, making for a fully entertaining 2:46 video. The editing is well-timed and uses cool cuts to accentuate the actions and keep in lock-step with the song's tempo.
The frontman of Young Kings Global, YKG Hotboy has been diligent with his releases, officially he has only dropped three songs including this one, but the amount of effort and showmanship put forth in Another Day, as well as his other video for Friday, show that he may be a perfectionist, aspiring to put his best foot forward at all times. This means an upcoming project from YKG Hotboy is guaranteed to be the best cuts possible.
