Big Sty and Spade Takes It Back With Their Video For "Hands Up"

Big Sty is a rapper from Richmond, VA that has an interesting journey. Sty was once a member of the Rap A Lot label to performing with the likes of Bushwick Bill and Wyclef. Sty's sound is very reminiscent of the nostalgic early nineties rap music similar to KRS-One and LL Cool J.

The visual for Hands Up starts off with a cypher on the street rapping over someone beatboxing similar to the very early days of hip-hop culture. Then the video switches over to shots at a rooftop venue in Richmond as Sty raps with such confidence as he has Spades hyping the listener up as if they're at a show. This is not only great celebratory music but also a fantastic song to work out to thanks to the inclusion of the robust horns and bassline. The video already has over ten thousand views on Youtube. You can follow Big Sty on Instagram @bigsty804 and Facebook Big Sty.
