Big Sty and Spade Takes It Back With Their Video For "Hands Up"

Big Sty is a rapper from Richmond, VA that has an interesting journey. Sty was once a member of the Rap A Lot label to performing with the likes of Bushwick Bill and Wyclef. Sty's sound is very reminiscent of the nostalgic early nineties rap music similar to KRS-One and LL Cool J.

The visual for Hands Up starts off with a cypher on the street rapping over someone beatboxing similar to the very early days of hip-hop culture. Then the video switches over to shots at a rooftop venue in Richmond as Sty raps with such confidence as he has Spades hyping the listener up as if they're at a show. This is not only great celebratory music but also a fantastic song to work out to thanks to the inclusion of the robust horns and bassline. The video already has over ten thousand views on Youtube.
