Eclectic Richmond talent Cin the Ciege has returned with his first single of 2022, Mugwort. The single comes coupled with its own lore, an article about Mugwort being an "untaxed Earth substance" that is illegal to the intergalactic feds, making Cin the Ciege a space outlaw, the resulting song is an audio file which will undoubtedly be used against him in a court of alien law.
The lore of the song should definitely be read before hearing it, as it opens a whole new dimension, immersing the listeners fully into the world Cin creates. The song itself is a spacey beat with vocal effects and a robotic hook, the whole song screams "on the run", and the snappy verses flesh that out even more. At 1:28, Mugwort is still a fulfilling experience and one that has to be replayed and analyzed to fully sense the weight of it.
