Money Marr Kicks Off College Tour On August 15th





Empire Records’ young prodigy Money Marr is going on his very first college tour! The southeast D.C. rapper kicks off his performances on the Culture Fusion Agency-sponsored HBCU college tour on August 15th at Dillard University in New Orleans. After his Dillard performance, he’ll visit Morgan State University in Baltimore on August 19th, Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi on August 22nd, Howard University in his hometown of DC on August 24th, Tennessee State University in Nashville on August 25th, and Florida A&M in Tallahassee on August 26th.


Money Marr is one of the many artists on tour with the Culture Fusion Agency. The Culture Fusion Agency-sponsored tour is focused on giving HCBUs an exciting welcoming week experience for the new year and the tour is also powered by Rolling Loud, Amazon Music, and the Black Music Action Coalition. Some of the sponsors include RCA Records, Def Jam, LVRN, and BLK.


Some of the other acts on tour with Marr include 26AR, Alex Vaughn, Armani White, BRS Kash, Big Mali, Gang51e June, Karlae, Kateel, Kidd Keen, Killuminati, Letter M, Lil Migo, Marques Clae, Money Man, OMB Peezy, Pap Chanel, Rico Cartel, Sha EK, Shordie Shordie, Tino SZN, Tooley and Vedo.


Money Marr has been on a hot streak this year with a series of singles such as “Tip Toe”, “Durk Eyes” with SemiHomie and CruddaMurda, “Sit On Your House”, “One In A Million”, and his latest single “Worst Way” featuring Quin Nfn. He’s known for his explosive energy in his music and is sure to translate that on the college stages. The tour is a way for him to celebrate his birthday all month long as his birthday is on the 31st.
