Woodie Smalls Is Fed Up in Latest Single, "Lose My Number"

Belgian artist Woodie Smalls has been on a run recently. He performed at SXSW music festival in 2016, two years later, his song Tokyo Drift was featured in NBA 2K18. In 2020, his sophomore album In Between Spaces secured a feature from TDE's Isaiah Rashad. With that kind of attention, people are bound to screw you over.

That brings us to Woodie Smalls latest single, Lose My Number. With a sultry guitar sample and a clap on the backbeat giving it a certain West Coast flair, Woodie takes the song's 2:45 runtime and uses it to flick off the worst of his fake friends in the music industry. The kind of people Woodie says, "don't ever see you where I'm going." The people who only ask you what's good only once you got money and a platform.
