Flag On The Moon 6 Aligns Virginia Stars To Shine Together

Flag On The Moon 6 is a culmination of the successful year in the Richmond hip-hop scene. The one-night festival is a staple hosted by the Association of Great Minds collective that features the likes of Southpaw Battle Coalition and RVA Rap Elite owner Radio B, underground rap legend Nickelus F along with rapper and engineer Michael Millions. Richmond played a pivotal role in the undeniable renaissance of Virginia indie music this year and the lineup reflects that. You can find all of the artists' social media information on the @flagonthemoon6 Instagram page.

Smyth, formerly known and Smyth Knight, was on a multi-city tour with new Red Bull Records artist Peter $un from Richmond. Smyth has put out music that reflects the times of just breaking into the music scene just being outside of his teens and his North Chesterfield project even contains a feature from Nickelus F. You can watch Smyth kick it with his Stray Catz below and enjoy his silky smooth cadence over the NHP Studio beat. He'll also be bringing the Kidz At Play collective to provide a new aura for the already veteran and seasoned rapper card.

You can also get a taste of Peter $un's jazz and upbeat melodic tunes from his first video with the Red Bull Records label, No Bad Days from the deluxe edition of the Scumbaby album below.

Tyler Donavan from Virginia Beach is gracing the Flag On The Moon stage after releasing successful cinematic videos for his Inhale EP. His acts documents being on cloud nine after overcoming personal health issues that affected his physical abilities to perform. It's truly an inspiring story and his unique delivery makes him what I would like to decree as the Iron Giant of the show: a robust presence that speaks for itself yet when he does speak, he's very meek and welcoming.

Flag On The Moon also has the finals of the Southpaw Battle Coalition: Road To Supremacy tournament, which has been covered numerous times on this platform. Ironically, the two people that I interviewed at the same time from the first round, J Morr and Big Jinya, will go at it for the two thousand dollar grand prize. J Morr won against Preme 3-0 and Big Jinya came back against Will Jung 2-1 in the semi-finals of the tournament. The man of many oxymorons, Jinya once declared J Morr as being in his top three in an interview several years ago. We will see how the tournament concludes on December 5th.

Earlier in the year, I interviewed Troy who had his song with Mick Jenkins, All We Got Is This, crack over one hundred thousand streams on Spotify, and has been strategically putting out dope content to give his new fans mystique of what he's going to do next. His latest single features R&B singer RMZY pronounced Ramsey on his song Make U, directed by Arcani.

It even features some sharp lyricists Cane, Illa Styles, and Henny L.O. that have been featured on the TeamBackpack platform.

*IMPORTANT TO NOTE: PROOF OF COMPLETE COVID-19 VACCINATION OR A NEGATIVE COVID-19 RESULT FROM 72 HOURS PRIOR TO THE SHOW IS REQUIRED BY THE BROADBERRY IN ORDER TO ATTEND.*
